Cookie Policy
Published December 18, 2023 | Version – IT-SEC-COP v1.3
1. Purpose
This policy is issued on behalf of the IPG Group so when we mention “IPG”, “we” or “us” in this policy, we are referring to the relevant company in the IPG Group responsible for processing your personal information. Intertape Polymer Group is the controller and responsible for this Site and the cookies used.
Like most businesses, we employ “cookies” and similar technologies including web beacons, HTML5 local storage, and Local Shared Objects. This Cookie Policy tells you about the use of cookies and web beacons on our websites, applications, and other online services to which this Cookie Policy is posted (collectively, our “Sites”).
You do not have to accept cookies and consent can be withdrawn at any time. See the section: How to Control Cookies, below.
2. Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. When you access the Sites again, the cookies allow us to recognize your browser. Cookies may store your preferences and other information but cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
Cookies set by a website owner (in this case, IPG) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies used on our Sites may enable us to provide third party features or functionality through the Site (i.e., advertising, social media functions and analytics).
The Cookies used on our Sites
Cookies make the use of our Sites easier by, among other things, saving your preferences and remembering you. We may also use cookies or allow trusted third parties to use cookies on our Sites, to deliver content tailored to your interests. These cookies may enable us to relate your use of the Sites to personal information that you have separately provided to us.
The information that we collect with cookies allows us to statistically analyze usage of the Sites, and to improve and customize our content and other offerings. However, we only disclose information collected with cookies to third parties on an aggregated basis.
We use technology that recognizes do-not-track signals from your web browser.
The specific types of first party and third-party cookies placed by our Sites and the purposes they perform are described in the following table:
California Information
We may allow selected third parties to place cookies through the Sites to provide us with better insights into the use of the Sites or user demographics or to provide relevant advertising to you. These third parties may collect information about a consumer’s online activities over time and across different websites when he or she uses our website. We may also permit third party service providers to place cookies through our Sites to perform analytic or marketing functions where you are notified of them, and you have consented to the usage. We do not control the use of such third-party cookies or the resulting information, and we are not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties. You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information and to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information. “Sharing” means sharing, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or communicating (orally, in writing, by electronic or other means) the consumer’s personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
How to Control Cookies
When you first access our Sites from certain jurisdictions, you will receive a message asking you whether you agree or not to the use of certain cookies and similar technologies. By clicking “Accept All” you signify that you understand and agree to the use of these technologies, as described in this Cookie Policy.
You can reject the non-strictly necessary cookies, and your consent to these non-strictly necessary cookies can be withdrawn at any time. You can withdraw consent by clicking the appropriate opt-out provided in the cookie table above or by activating the settings on your browser that allows you to restrict or refuse all or some cookies. You can also withdraw your consent to the use of non-strictly necessary Cookies or manage any other cookie preferences via the “Cookie Settings” button on our website. It may be necessary to refresh the page for the updated settings to take effect.
Additionally, you may delete non-strictly necessary cookies after they have been placed on your device at any time through your browser settings.
If you choose not to accept our non-strictly necessary cookies, or if you chose to delete these cookies, some areas of the Sites that you access may take more time to work or may not function properly.

3. Web Beacons
As well as cookies, we use other technologies to recognize and track your use of our Sites. A web beacon (also known as a “tracking pixel” or “clear GIF”) is a clear graphic image (typically a one-pixel tag) that is delivered through a web browser or HTML e-mail, typically in conjunction with a cookie.
Web beacons allows us, for example, to monitor how users move from one page within our websites to another, to track access to our communications, to understand whether users have come to our websites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to measure how ads have been viewed and to improve site performance.
4. Changes to this Policy
Subject to applicable law, we may revise this Cookie Policy at any time and in our sole discretion. When we revise this Cookie Policy, we will post the revised version via our Sites and will update the date of this Cookie Policy. The revised Cookie Policy will be effective upon posting via our Sites, unless otherwise set forth therein or as otherwise required by applicable law.
